Lewis & Clark College | Landscape Pavilions

Portland, Oregon

Three simple covered structures commissioned by Lewis & Clark College were designed to provide spaces for rest, shelter from the ever-present rain, for conversation, and to act as meeting points.

The minimal structures took cues from Oregon’s rich timber history and adjacent timber projects while capturing axial views along the network of paths through the heavily forested college campus.
